December December
Hard to believe that it is already December again. How fast time flies when you're.............um.....? Definitely will not be entering the usual pun there. If anything, this bitterly cold weather in Tulsa will surely remind you just what time of year it is. Never in my life have I been so excited to see a December come and go. Other than the fact that I will be visiting family at the end of month with my annual pilgrimage to the homeland: or Mecca, or P-Town, or whatever I'm calling it these days; I'm ready to say goodbye to 2009 and proceed with the next decade........I seriously considered going into depth on this subject but have decided against it.....That's all I really care to elaborate at this point.

House
Well, now that I'm living in Tulsa for my new employment venture, do I receive a call this evening from the casting director for House. They were wanting me to play a college football player on an upcoming episode, only to have me no longer living in California. Just my luck huh? So goes 2009. Oh well it is almost over. Sucks that my big break may have just blown out the window........such has been my life lately....but I think tonight may be a turning point!

Is a hangover the excuse?
The Cardinals return to S.O.C. on Sunday almost made me want to sit down and write a little something. On second thought, nothing surprised me, and I will stay retired on that front until they prove me that their late run last season wasn't merely a flash in the pan, mirrored smoking mirage. One thing I will say, Kurt Warner undoubtedly looked a year older yesterday. Matty Heisman may make an appearance this season. I'm just sayin.....

Quote of the Day
Favre to sign with Vikings today
Brett Favre is expected to sign with the Vikings today, pending his physical. The Vikings sent their team’s private jet to Mississippi, and it departed en-route to Minneapolis/St.Paul with Favre in tow. This appears to end another off-season of As The Favre Turns. The only person who appears to be losing in this deal is Sage Rosenfels, who played quite well in the previous pre-season game. Apparently it is a 1-year deal worth $10-12 million. It would be nice if they would lock him up for a couple years, so the rest of us who could care less about Favre, don’t have to deal with this saga again next summer.
